Food Courier – tell us about your work!

Are you working or have you previously worked as a food courier? Tell us about your job and your experiences by answering our survey or in your own words.

The Hotel and Restaurant Museum documents and collects material on the work of food couriers in its collections in the autumn of 2024 and beginning of 2025. The platform economy and food couriers are a key contemporary phenomenon within the food and restaurant industry. The Hotel and Restaurant Museum wants to collect experiences, images and information related to this phenomenon, especially from the perspective of food couriers themselves.

The responses, interviews and photographs will be permanently stored in the Hotel and Restaurant Museum’s collections, where they will be available to the museum staff and the museum’s customers for, for example, exhibitions, publications, digital content and research. You can share your experiences and thoughts under your name, under a pseudonym or anonymously.

The museum will use the collected material to put together an exhibition on the work of food couriers, which will be on display at the Hotel and Restaurant Museum in the autumn of 2025.

About us: The Hotel and Restaurant Museum is a museum specialised in food and drink culture in Finland. The museum showcases cultural heritage and social significance of food, drink and the service culture related with them. The museum’s collections (photographs, objects, archival material, books etc.) document the hospitality sector and professional food culture in Finland from different perspectives, including people working in different professions in the sector.
