Stop by the Cable Factory restaurants during your museum visit!

How about topping off your museum visit with a lunch or coffee before or after the exhibitions? The Cable Factory has three cafés and restaurants that are happy to serve customers of the museums in the Cable Factory with mouth-watering delicacies and refreshments.

In the Glass Courtyard of the Cable Factory, opposite the ticket office of the Cable Museums (Hotel and Restaurant Museum, Finnish Museum of Photography, Theatre Museum), you will find Restaurant Traba, which serves quality café food and drink, as well as savoury and sweet delicacies. Delicious lunches are available on weekdays. You can also enjoy a great selection of wines during your visit to the museum.

In the Glass Courtyard you will also find the Cable Factory Coffee Bar. Here you can hang out, sample the delicacies from the café counter, browse the selection of the Culture Magazine Gallery and the clothes and accessories in the Second-Hand Shop. The café bar also houses a monthly microgallery of works by Cable Factory’s tenants.

The Hima & Sali restaurant is located in the staircase C, the 1st floor. Hima & Sali is Cable Factory’s longest-standing restaurant, having been established in 2001. The legendary “Himis” bakery products are made in the restaurant’s own bakery. Hima & Sali is also claimed that the restaurant is the best place in Helsinki – perhaps in Finland – for spotting celebrities!

Please check the opening hours of the restaurants on their websites: Restaurant Traba, Restaurant Hima&Sali, Coffee Bar.
